# Connect your Shopify Store

Easily integrate your Shopify store with the Marketing Engine—no coding required. Once connected, your existing contacts, products, and orders will automatically sync with the Marketing Engine. Plus, any future events—such as contact signups, order placements, cart additions, and new product listings—will seamlessly update in the Marketing Engine, allowing you to engage your audience effortlessly with our powerful automation journeys.

To get started, connect your Shopify account using the Marketing Engine-Shopify Plugin. If you haven’t installed the plugin yet, install it and unlock the full potential of your store with the Marketing Engine.

### Steps

* Click *Settings > Integrations > Online Store*&#x20;

* In the *Shopify* column, click *Configure*
* Click *Connect and e*nter your Shopify ‘shop-name’ in the respective field and click *Connect*. If you’re not already logged in to your Shopify account, you will get a prompt to log in to your Shopify store. &#x20;

* Click on *Install app*. &#x20;

* All your existing data (contacts, orders, and products) from your store will be synced with the Marketing Engine in 30 minutes.

## Data Synchronization with the Marketing Engine

Once you connect your Shopify with the Marketing Engine, all your Shopify data is synchronized with it and will continue to synchronize from time to time. This helps the Marketing Engine get access your store information that makes marketing a seamless process for you. The following data is synchronized with the Marketing Engine.

For contacts:

* *EMAIL* – Email of the contact
* *NAME* – First name of the contact
* *PHONE\_NUMBER* – Phone number of the contact
* *CITY* – City of the contact
* *COUNTRY* – Country of the contact
* *POSTCODE* – Postcode of the contact
* *PROVINCE\_CODE* – Province code of the contact
* *COUNTRY\_CODE* – Country code of the contact

For products:

* *PRODUCT\_NAME*
* *PRODUCT\_COST*
* *PRODUCT\_VARIANT*
* *OTHER\_ATTRIBUTES*

For orders:

* *CUSTOMER\_INFO*
* *PRODUCT\_INFO*

At the bottom of the Shopify connection window, you can view the connections status and related details.&#x20;
