Setup Segment-based Engagement Rules

You can configure engagement rules with contact lists, audience segments and individual contacts or based on conditions. There are 3 engagement rules –
Inactive Contacts
To configure these, perform the following steps:
Click the settings icon.
Click on Rules Setup.
Click on Engagement Rules.
DND (Do Not Disturb) engagement rules refer to settings that control how and when a brand can chose to limit communications with specific contact lists, audiences, or individual contacts. These rules ensure compliance with regulations, respect customer preferences, and prevent over-messaging, which can lead to unsubscribes or complaints.
Click Configuration on the DND card.
Click Configure on the Email card.
Select from Audience, List or Individual Contact that you want to mark as a DND for email campaigns.
Click Save.
Click Configure on the SMS card.
Select from Audience, List or Individual Contact that you want to mark as a DND for SMS campaigns.
Click Save.
Setting up an abandoned cart allows you to define a time frame after which a cart is considered abandoned if the items in it are not purchased.
Steps:
Click Configuration on the Abandoned Cart card.
Set the timeout period. By default it is set to 3 hours.
Click Save.
