# Connect to Salesforce

Connecting to Salesforce is unique to your Salesforce configuration and your business needs. The documentation below is built to demonstrate a generic implementation. Clients may want to consult their CRM administrator to gather appropriate details and settings.

How to Connect to Salesforce through Zapier

1. Within the “Action” section, choose “Salesforce”

2. Within the “Event” section, specify your Event. Events can be one of the available options based on business needs

* **Field to Search By:** Multiple options are available such as:
  * Email
  * Mobile number
  * Etc.
* Set up Due Dates for tasks
