# SMS/MMS Template

With the Marketing Engine, unlock the power of visual and text-based communication with Messaging Services (SMS and MMS). These channels are your instant canvas for storytelling, brand expression, and meaningful engagement, allowing you to break through communication barriers with vibrant images, compelling videos, and impactful text that speaks louder than words.

## Steps for creating an SMS template

1. Navigate to *Templates*
2. Select *Messaging Templates*
3. Click on *Create Template*

4. Enter all the required details, including the template name, target destination, message type, and message text.
5. A live preview of the message will be displayed as you create the template, allowing you to review it before saving.&#x20;

## To create an MMS template:

4. Select MMS from the Message Type dropdown.
5. Choose the desired media type from the dropdown menu and upload your media file.
   1. Supported media types are: Image, Video, Audio & File&#x20;

6. **Limitations of MMS:**
   1. MMS supports up to 10 media attachments per message.
   2. Each media attachment must not exceed 600 kB.
   3. The total size of the MMS, including text and attachments, must not exceed 600 K.
   4. MMS is supported only in the United States
   5. After entering all the template details, click Save to finalize your template.
