Before you can start sending marketing email campaigns with the Marketing Engine, you need to connect your own email domain (e.g., hello@yourdomain.com) to the platform. This connection allows the Marketing Engine to send emails on your behalf by setting up an email-sending domain.
Connecting your email domain is crucial for improving email deliverability, ensuring your emails reach inboxes instead of spam folders, and adding credibility to your messages.
To successfully connect your domain to the Marketing Engine, you'll need to add specific DNS records to your domain's settings. This requires logging into your DNS provider account, and you may need assistance from your IT team.
This guide provides step-by-step instructions for setting up your domain with the following DNS providers:
Click Settings.
Click Email.
Click Add A New Domain.
Enter your domain name, for example myflowershop.com
Click Save Domain.
Once you saved your domain, you will see two DKIM and one Cname entry as follows.

Click the Add Record button, and within the Type drop-down, choose CNAME.
Fill in the remaining form fields with the following values:
Name will be the Host value that can be located in the generated cname records on Factoreal UI or will be shared by Factoreal Support
