Best Practices for Images and Rich Media

We recommend adding an image to responses to increase branding and personalization, which will provide an engaging user experience.

  • Mascot/branding should be used in key locations to engage end users.

  • Image file types must be jpg, gif, png or svg files.

  • Gifs can be added to add some fun.

  • Sponsorship Placement(s) should be visible to the end user.

  • Highlighted Promotions will spark interest with the user and get them to where they need to go fast! See the example below.

We recommend adding an image or GIF to your welcome message and throughout bot responses to increase branding and personalization. We can support JPG, GIF, PNG, or SVG files.

Images don't only have to be used to provide information. They should also be added to increase the user experience and add a personal touch. For example, if you visit Snowbirds website you will see they added pictures of dogs throughout their assistant for more of a fun and friendly experience.

Go to the Snowbirds website and ask the assistant, "Are you a good boy?". You will see the response below:

Clickable Maps - Adding the image URL twice allows the user to enlarge the image. View the steps on how to add a URL to an image here.

You can add a clickable map image (as seen in the example below on the right) so that the user can still get the important information without a lengthy response or without leaving the chat experience.
