Examples We Love

Mountain Creek

Use Your Own Image vs. the Traditional Popup Button

Give Your Chat Personality: You don't need to be a professional sports team to have a mascot in your chat! You can create a fictional character to make the chat feel more humanized.

Format To Your Website/App: When creating an image, make sure it pops off the page and grabs the attention of your customer! Avoid using image colors that blend into the webpage and ensure that any text is highlighted with a different background color vs. a transparent backdrop.

Bring Your Mascot to Life with a Prompt Bubble

Add a Familiar Face: Catch your fan's attention by having your mascot as your pop-up icon! It's a great way to introduce users to your chat's persona before the conversation begins.

Encourage Engagement: By adding a Prompt Bubble, we further promote interaction with the pop-up icon. Prompt bubbles can be used to give your image a voice like in the example above!

New York Mets

Uses both image and popup button labels

In the above example, the button utilizes the traditional popup button; however, an image is incorporated within the button as well.

Nashville Predators

Two Examples of Popup Button Labels

Messaging Matters: In the above example, we see two buttons; however, both are used by one company. Verses opting to have the standard "Chat with Us" button on every webpage, they decided to replace it with a button with more relevant messaging for certain pages. This "Purchase Ticket" button has a direct call to action and boosts user engagement by encouraging customers to start the ticket purchase process or escalate a chat directly to a sales agent.
